Minto introduces a visionary new community featuring the best of Florida living in a natural setting

Minto Communities is pleased to announce plans for a new community in eastern Collier County known as Rural Lands West. Rural Lands West implements a new phase of the Rural Land Stewardship Area (RLSA) Program, which was approved by the Collier County Board of County Commissioners in 2002. Rural Lands West will be developed in accordance with the RLSA Program which encourages the protection of natural resources, retention of agricultural uses, and diversification of the rural economy through an incentive-based credit system. The plan outlines development on 4,000 acres while another 12,000 acres are being set aside for wildlife habitat and flow-ways.

This exciting new master-planned community will offer all of life’s best in one picturesque setting graced by vistas of protected nature preserves. The plan reflects an innovative and comprehensive vision of a place where residents will enjoy a wealth of resort-style recreation and wellness, along with an abundance of shopping, dining, entertainment and other conveniences. Minto, the award-winning developer of The Isles of Collier Preserve in Naples, will offer a variety of home styles and designs in Rural Lands West.
